Pacific Blue News March 2022

 ðŸŒ´Hola🌴

Moving forward on our infrastructure

The Board is pleased to provide an update on efforts made to join our local ASADA. We attended an ASADA Board meeting held in Tambor in January. The meeting was conducted in English, and we were asked to provide information for consideration as a participant. Data requested was size of the PB well, registration status, pipe diameters and tank pressure. The key to the process was to confirm registration status of the well. The original Civil Engineer involved in Pacific Blue planning and development and who was responsible for approval of required certification, was able to provide us with the documentation. He also verified identity of the well from MINAET. At our next meeting more than 300 pages of documents will be submitted to the ASADA Board.

Ambitious new development beginning behind Pacific Blue

- Punta Piedra Amarilla

In February, neighbours near Pacific Blue noted that construction of new roads and clearing of brush had begun in a swath of land between the ocean and Cerro Bonito, immediately behind Pacific Blue. A new entrance off the main road leads to a large flat area being prepared for this new development.  All approvals and legal compliance for building 1000 units and condominiums, a golf course, hospital, marina and more has been approved. Stay tuned for updates.  (See the link for more information).

End of 2021 positive for higher tourism and new construction

Cobano and surrounding areas look unrecognizable with a boom in construction projects and new builds. Many commercial stores, medical offices, and restaurants are popping up. This is a healthy sign of economic growth and recovery. In the long-term, the Costa Rica GDP Annual Growth Rate is projected to trend around 3.20 percent in 2022 and 3.10 percent in 2023, according to TradeEconomic metric models.

Pacific Blue Looking pretty…and ready for visitors!

Pacific Blue development completes its annual chop after rainy season. The grounds and roads were overgrown with dense brush. Thanks to HOA fees your properties are cleaned and well maintained.
