Rainy season is here! New developments in the area are in full bloom.
We hope everyone is enjoying summer season while Costa Rica is in the winter season of rain and winds. Like the rain, nonstop construction of new homes and commercial builds are taking place everywhere.
Frogs were the first land animals with vocal cords. Male frogs have vocal sacs—pouches of skin that fill with air. The nights are loud with sounds of rain and mating calls.
Inauguration of a modern regional airport in Cobano will boost tourism in Nicoya Peninsula. The opening ceremony took place on Saturday, August 5, 2023 thanks to the joint effort of local entrepreneurs who financed the project. New facilities are planned to provide visitors, both national and foreign, a standard of comfort and service in the area. Sansa Airlines began inaugural flights during the event last week. Other airlines will transition to begin operating both commuter aircraft and 50 seater jets. New location of Cobano airport is just outside of Cobano, Puntarenas providing easy access to Montezuma, Santa Teresa and Malpais. Click here for video link.
2022/2023 Year End Financials
The Board is pleased to present 2022/2023 yearend financials prepared by Neoproc Accounting. Managing the finances of a community association is one of the most difficult, and most important, responsibilities of an HOA board of directors. Preparing detailed HOA reports on a regular basis serves a multitude of purposes from providing insight for financial planning, promoting transparency between the board and residents, as well as being a requirement by law in some instances. **Please see the emailed Newsblast for the full report.
Latest activity in Pacific Blue is managing impact of rainy weather!
Fallen trees are cut before they cause damage to electrical lines. Constant vigilance is required especially with trees situated close to homes. Next big development chop is scheduled for August 10th. It will take a team of five choppers over three days to complete the job. They will be wielding machetes and chainsaws to clear vegetation.
